Flipped through my photos from Calgary on the final day of Will and Kate’s Royal Tour of Canada and this stood out as one of my favourites. Just a lovely couple.

It was Kate vs the gusting wind once again during the official departure ceremony at Calgary Rotary Challenger Park. I think she more than held her own. (Kate Middleton pictured here with the Governor General of Canada and his wife.)

Kate met, hugged and chatted with 6-year-old Diamond Marshall yesterday at the Calgary Airport. Diamond was diagnosed with abdominal cancer earlier this year and is now awaiting surgery. Will and Kate arrived at the BMO Centre in true stampede style: on a stage coach, wearing the white cowboy hats that were presented to them by the Mayor of Calgary upon their arrival. Giddy up!
Will and Kate have just arrived in Calgary and she’s once again looking radiant in yellow.
This morsel by Calgary’s Jelly Modern Doughnuts is called an Eton Mess and is allegedly the first thing William ever asked the Royal Chef to teach him to make!
Update: Thanks to ChaBla for commenting below. Apparently this isn’t the actual Eton Mess, but a doughnut which represents the actual dessert. We’ll take one of each, thank you!
